Ostara of London

Ostara, named after the fabled Goddess of Spring and symbolising new beginnings, is an Oyster 54 Yacht designed by Rob Humphreys and Oyster Yachts and built in Norwich. She is registered in London and until July 2023 lived in beautiful Port Grimaud near St Tropez in the south of France.

She is a sloop rig monohull with in-mast furling designed for safe and comfortable long distance 'blue water' sailing substantially upgraded since we purchased her in 2021. 

Ostara is well built and capable of fast passage making with six berths in three cabins. She has a large 'saloon' living area, a safe enclosed centre cockpit and ample deck area with additional seating. Ostara is fully kitted out for our planned circumnavigation with new navigation, communication and safety equipment , including chart plotters, radar, SSB radio, VHF, Wi-Fi and satellite phone and internet. We can generate electricity and water and carry an extensive inventory of spares and service parts to ensure we are as self sufficient as we can be on our adventure.

We carry a good sail wardrobe include sails designed for both light winds and heavy weather and everything in between..!
